Main Meeting

08.30 - 09.30hrs	Two keynote lectures (labelled K1, K2 on the programme) running in parallel.
09.30 - 10.00hrs	Coffee
10.00 - 12.30hrs	Six parallel microsymposia (labelled A, B....F)
12.30 - 14.45hrs	Poster sessions (lunch can be eaten in the Exhibition Hall when the posters are on display)
14.45 - 17.15hrs	Six parallel microsymposia (labelled AA, BB...FF)
17.30 - 18.30hrs	Two keynote lectures (labelled K3 and K4 running in parallel)

The Opening Ceremony is on Wednesday 4th August and starts at 18:00hrs and includes the Ewald Lecture. The scientific programme runs from Thursday 5th August until Friday 13th August. A special symposium in honour of J Monteath-Robertson will be held on Saturday 7th August from 19.30hrs - 21.30hrs.

Business meetings

The General Assembly meetings for the IUCr will be held on Thursday 5th , Friday 6th , Monday 9th and optionally on Wednesday 11th August 1999. They will all commence at 19.30hrs.
