    The EMBL Hamburg Outstation offers seven synchrotron radiation beamlines in protein crystallography, small angle scattering of non-crystaliinesystems and X-ray absorption spectroscopy to the International user community.

    This session will provide information about:

    • the current status and future plans of these beam lines,
    • how to apply for synchrtron beam time,
    • EU funding for International users,
    • highlights of research projects from 1998.

    Sandwiches and drinks will be served in front of the lecture hall.
